NGF CANADA Limited is a leading manufacturer of rubber impregnated glass cords. Our products are used in the reinforcement of a variety of polymeric materials for specialty applications such as racing tires, industrial timing belts, escalator handrails, braided and wrapped hose, extruded profiles and friction products such as clutch facings and brake pads. Other uses where treated cord properties can benefit the application include industrial brushes, paper machine dryer felts, specialty conveyors and cable filler reinforcement.

Our main E glass cord product has options of tex (diameter) as well as twist/ply constructions and we can also offer solutions using different fiber inputs such as High Strength glass, Aramid and Carbon Fiber. In addition to cord construction options using our standard SBR RFL treatment, we can provide cords treated with neoprene, polyurethane and silicone.

Our chopped fiber products provide improved mechanical properties (modulus, dimensional stability, hardness and abuse resistance) to the matrix due to the specialized treatment on the fibers.

NGF CANADA also markets specialty glass products which include E Glass Flake for plastics reinforcement and C Glass Flake for corrosion protection. Flakes can be silane treated or metal coated or specially manufactured for UV resistance or for antibacterial properties.
