METASHINE (Metallic Pigment
for Paints, Inks and Plastics)
METASHINE consists of coated glass flakes, designed
for highly brilliant pigmentation of paints, printing
inks, plastic films and moulded plastic components.
Metashine is manufactured by plating fine glass
flakes with silver or nickel, by a unique method
of electrolysis. It is available with or without
a protective coating, and in a wide range of grades
depending on flake dimensions and metallic finish.
The smoothness and uniformity of the plated metal
surface gives high reflection of visible light;
and the lower specific gravity of METASHINE, compared
to other metallic flakes and powders, gives improved
dispersion and workability.
TSG FLAKE (UV shield silica glass flake)
TSG FLAKE is a glass flake which contains monodispersed
particles of Titanium Dioxide.
This combination enhances cosmetics and skin care
creams. Foundations, face powders and other cosmetics
containing TSG FLAKE benefit from its opacity,
smoothness and sun protection factor qualities.
